[Superpeople]
My first experience doing branding was for two young clients who are supported by the Super people charity and Autism Anonymous. The brief was to reflect their individual career goals and personalities through a business card and CV. For Rory, who is interested in coding and game design, I created a CV and business card featuring a Matrix-style background and pixelated font for a coding-inspired aesthetic. The CV is interactive, with text boxes and prompts that allow Rory to showcase his skills and personality in a fun yet professional way. For Amanda, who aspires to work in the music industry, I designed a pop art-themed business card and a vinyl record-shaped CV. These allow her to add personal details and respond to prompts for interviews. The CV also includes a circular hole punch with a carabiner for attaching a USB or a lanyard, making it both functional and visually engaging. My partner and i were able to present the final designs to both our clients. Receiving invaluable feedback was by far my favourite part.
Connecting with clients such as Super people and Autism Anonymous and watching their passion come to life is a path i plan to pursue further.
